7th European Joint Meeting on Membranes, Graz

The European Joint Theoretical/Experimental Meeting on Membranes (EJTEMM) is a recurring workshop organized in different cities across Europe bringing together leading scientists in the field of membrane biophysics. Previous EJTEMM were held e.g. in Helsinki, Krakau, Bratislava, and Stockholm. The aim of the meeting is to foster networking and scientific exchange between experimental and theoretical groups focusing on diverse issues from basic aspects of biological membrane function to pharmaceutical and medical applications.

The upcoming EJTEMM will be taking place in Graz, Austria (May 6–8, 2020) at the University of Graz. The venue will be the Meerscheinschlössl, which combines a unique baroque architecture with a technically perfectly equipped meeting room hosting up to 130 people and a large enough foyer for poster presentations and coffee breaks. As organizers, we have committed ourselves to set up a scientifically exciting meeting with outstanding invited speakers. At the same time, we aim to support students and young scientists by giving them ample opportunities to present their work in form of selected oral contributions or posters.
